Trying to rack up a decent max chain or combo in Atelier Ryza 3 can be a task in itself as the game doesn't tell you how to do it. Even by spamming all your skills and following up with Action Orders, and Order Drives you will only net a max chain of 17, depending on which character you use. The answer to longer chains relies in using keys.

Most precisely, Keys that have the Action Speed buff. If you pull off your 12 action skills and then perform two Action Orders, don't use your Order Drives, instead, wait for your character to act again and use a key with the Action Speed Buff. Imediately start spamming your action skills and try to complete the action orders as well. Your Action Skills won't increase the chain but the Action Orders will. Keep doing this to increase your Max. Chain for as long as you want. If you use Order Drives after the Action Orders, you can increase the combo further but the combo will end after the last Order Drive has been used
