How to get All Strange Prisms (Secret Character Skins!) in Risk of Rain Returns
136Risk of Rain Returns adds a new hidden collectable called the Strange Prism. 9 of these are currently scattered throughout the game, and finding each one unlocks a secret skin! You'll need to have the character unlocked to collect their prism(s), but you can play as anyone to collect them.
**IMPORTANT REMINDER**
When a map variant is specified, you must be on that variant to find the prism. This doesn't matter for the 2 prisms on Risk of Rain (even though there are technically 2 variants of that map).
**HELP FINDING MAP VARIANTS**
If you need help telling what map variant you're on, the game has a map viewer accessible from the title screen for every log you've collected! Just click Logs and Unlockables, then the 4th tab at the top (the Mountain with a flag atop its peak) and then you can click on each map. Clicking on the map thumbnail that pops up in the center then expands the map, letting you scroll around it freely! Use this to identify landmarks in the variant you're hunting for.
