This video shows some tips and tricks to get the upper hand while using the assault rifle in both the campaign and multiplayer modes of Halo Reach.

If you can't understand what I am saying, (or want to see the funny things I wrote) remember to turn on the closed captions!

*So I had to add a "*" to the closed captions because there was a much better trick that I forgot to mention. A lot of people will run up to you and melee to kill. This is the common "if I melee you first I win" mindset. If you can fight the urge to melee back and just keep firing, you will win the fight more often than not. The hardest part is resisting the urge to press the melee button after you have just been melee-ed.

**At 0:46 I said "In the hands of a friendly marine."
I wanted to correct this because I am well aware the friendlies in Reach are not marines. I corrected it to soldiers in the closed captions, but I also wanted to state that here in case anyone has a fit.

***The energy sword trick can be utilized by any weapon in the game (except for the gravity hammer, another energy sword, the golf club, or the target locator) so always keep that in mind while playing!
