This recharger pistol is the second version[1] of a self-charging weapon, with effectively limitless ammunition. It is a more advanced and compact version of the recharger rifle, which is fitted with a microfusion breeder that provides virtually limitless power, as well as a 10-shot charge capacity. It takes 0.3 seconds to recharge one shot, and three seconds are required to recover from a fully discharged state. It will not recharge unless equipped and is not automatically charged when drawn. This causes a delay before the first shot can be fired.

The Microfusion Hyperbreeder Alpha is a unique variant of the recharger pistol that has been modified to be fully automatic. The Hyperbreeder also recharges much faster than its standard non unique counterpart, allowing for a higher rate of fire. It also deals more damage per shot fired than the standard variant. Its high recharge rate is somewhat mitigated by its noticeably smaller magazine capacity, allowing for only half as many shots as the common variant before recharging. Also, as with most unique weapons, it lacks the ability to be modified. It also has high spread, limiting the effective range.

Physically, the coloring is a darker, yet cleaner blue. It has only the left breeder, and has 4 tubes going from the receiver to the barrel. The MF Hyperbreeder Alpha is an improved holdout weapon and may be taken into weapon-free areas if the player character's Sneak skill is 50 or greater.
