9Because Windows XP RTM does not read the side-by-side configuration properly, so using Resource Hacker can fix problems.
Should be applied for Supermium 122 and 124 as well.
Like Windows 2000, chrome_elf.dll must be in the application folder, or else it will not work. Winhttp.dll is also required. Although unlike Windows 2000, Supermium is very unlikely to crash after a while on Windows XP RTM.
Note: I should've created a shortcut, but, oh well.
And Supermium now works, thanks to @laglife !
