The version you can go up to is Chrome 1.0 on Windows Whistler build 2419 and Windows Whistler build 2428, as Chrome 2.0 will only work on Windows Whistler build 2430 or higher.

Note that I have winhttp.dll in the system32 folder and the --no-sandbox shortcut used in Google Chrome.
