The new Summoner Egi-Glamour System as of Patch 3.5 allows Summoners to live up to their name, and summon more then just Titan, Ifrit, and Garuda, and here is how you unlock that quest, and glamour those egis

/egiglamour "garuda-egi" "ruby carbuncle"

replace with titan-egi or ifrit-egi if desired. :)
