How to Glitch out of & Skip Encounters in Scourge of the Past Raid (Destiny 2 Black Armory)
Hey there everyone. Glitching is both very complicated and exciting. I've been glitching into and out of places in games since forever. Everything from Wrath of the Machine in Destiny to the campaign mission in Halo 3 and even the battlefields of Pandemic's Star Wars Battlefront games. It's no secret I've been continuing this trend in Destiny 2. So today we're glitching outside of and underneath the Scourge of the Past raid lair. Let me catch you up the situation.
If you need help learning how to sword fly, skip to 8:08 in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpKnM8YOuPQ&t=1s
Yes, you do need Lion Rampant and you need to have a sword while using the Catapult Lift jump.
I know your first question is probably can I get the raid chests like in Last Wish? Honestly, I don't know. Last Wish was a unique experience and it usually isn't that easy to just hop in a raid and get free loot. As of right now it does not seem likely we can obtain these chests (although never doubt glitchers) and further down in the description I'll explain the problems you'll face if you attempt to get any of the loot. And just to be clear, I'm totally fine with players having to actual beat the raid to get loot. In fact that's the way it should be, but I'll always take advantage of ways to get it easier since it's a videogame and I like to have fun with it :P
A warlock is almost guaranteed to at least make it over the first wall in the video, and it's likely a hunter could figure out how to do it as well. But for now I've only tested this on Titan.
There are multiple sections in the raid that need 2 people to hit those fallen vandal buttons at the same time. I have only done this solo so you'll have to let me know if you can get access to the rest of the sparrow tunnels and final boss arena with 2 players.
You can explore pretty much every area of the raid through this glitch and some areas are pretty crazy looking from the outside (as glitched areas tend to look.)
Explanations on the problems of getting the two loot chests:
- First chest (at the end of the sparrow racing section)
To get this chest you need to activate all of the red triggers turning them green. You can in fact glitch in to the area with this chest, but since I was doing this solo I cannot confirm whether activating all of the triggers will still spawn it. Getting this chest is just going to be way easier if you do it legit.
- The Final chest (at the end of the raid)
This one is tough. As you'll see in the video, if you load into the final zone of the raid, it despawns the chest. If you load back into the interior vault section it will respawn it. This means you need to be loaded into this section to get the loot. On top of that, there are invisible barriers surrounding pretty much the entire room, but you can get close if you approach it from the back of the room. The issue here is that there is a kill zone just above most of the floor of this final room with the chest in it. So not entirely sure what can be done here as of right now but usually someone always finds a way.
My usual outro music is "The Awoken" from the Destiny Taken King Soundtrack. Sometimes I swap it out for different royalty free tracks.
