223Hey everyone! Today's video is SUPER important. We're going to address how to help someone during a tic attack. Tic attacks are SUPER scary, severe bouts of insuppressible tics in a person with Tourette Syndrome or another Tic Disorder, and this video will tell you how to help someone who is in the middle of a tic attack. Whether it's a friend, a loved one, a stranger - whoever - this video gives you all the advice you'll need on how to help someone when they are experiencing a tic attack. It will tell you what to do when someone is having a tic attack, and I would encourage you to share this video with family and friends to get awareness out there.
As a girl with Tourette's, I would love to spread awareness and education about my disorder, as I feel it is quite misunderstood in today's society. The media has made it out to be a swearing disorder only, which is far from true. I hope this video will educate you on Tourette Syndrome and tic disorders! Life with Tourettes can be difficult, but just know that we're the same as everyone else...except for the fact we tic like clocks! (:
