How to Hide likes on Instagram Post (Quick & Easy!)
1In this video, I’ll teach you how you can hide likes on Instagram. So, Instagram just launched a new feature in which you hide likes from other users for some privacy reasons. You can turn on the feature right away.
Instagram (commonly abbreviated to IG or Insta) is an American photo and video-sharing social networking service created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger. The app allows users to upload media that can be edited with filters and organized by hashtags and geographical tagging.
So, follow along with these steps and you’ll be all set to hide your likes from Instagram posts:
1. First of all, open the Instagram app on your device.
2. Then click on your profile button on the bottom right corner of the screen.
3. Now on this page, tap on the Hamburger menu (Three line bar) on the top right corner of the page.
4. It’ll open a little menu bar, at the bottom of the menu you’ll see a Settings button. Click on the Settings option.
5. Then click on the Privacy option from the list and it’ll take you to your private section where you can spot the Posts option.
6. Tap on the Posts option under the Interactions section.
7. On this page, you’ll get an option to hide likes. To do so, toggle the Hide Like and View Counts button at the top. If the button is blue then it means the feature is turned on.
8. Now go back to your profile section and choose one of your posts. Then click on the vertical three-bar icon at the top right corner of the post.
9. It will open a menu bar, then tap on ‘Hide like Count’ (second last option).
If you have followed the steps properly, you’ll be able to hide likes from your post on Instagram. You have to hide like from each and every post if you want to hide likes from every post on Instagram. It can’t be done at once.
