Once you're in the Messages notification settings, you'll see options like "Allow Notifications," "Lock Screen," "Notification Center," and "Banners." These control where message alerts appear. To hide the content of your text messages, tap on "Show Previews." By default, this might be set to "Always," which means the content of messages is visible even on the lock screen.
