Step 1. Open the Telegram app and then tap "Settings" in the menu along the bottom of the screen. Telegram settings options are displayed.

Step 2. Scroll down this menu and then tap "Privacy and Security." Those options are shown.

Step 3. Scroll down to the Privacy section, and then tap "Phone Number." The Phone Number screen opens.

Step 4. Navigate to the Who Can See My Phone Number section, and then click to place a check mark next to "Nobody." Going forward no one will be able to see your phone number in Telegram.
