17This video describes how you can import and update Customer Data in Odoo14.
You can import Customer data using either Excel (.xlsx) or CSV (.csv) formats.
First Go to Sales ‣ Orders ‣ Customers ‣ Open the list view and from the view select few records and come under action ‣ click Export.Now you can see a window where we can add fields to export and you can export customer data template after choosing the export format(csv or xlsx).So using this template you can add more records. If you are exporting records to update data then you must add the External ID field also.
To import records click on Favorites ‣ Import records. There also you are provided with templates you can easily populate with your own data. Such templates can be imported in one click; The data mapping is already done. Here you can load file and map columns in the file with the fields in Odoo. After mapping columns you can test and import records to your database.
