Throughout this six week, 2-hour Saturday morning class, Scott Burns, (Nintendo/SuperMario, Nickelodeon, Amazon, Nike, T-Mobile, Georgia Lottery, Maytag, UPS, Miller Lite, Lionel Trains and more…) will guide you through methods he’s used to convince clients to hire him over the course of his ulustrious career.
During the course, Scott will put on his “agent hat” and assign auditions to be reviewed the following Saturday, listening for audio quality, performance and all protocols required in the casting specs.
PLEASE NOTE: These faux-auditions (Fauxditions) WILL REQUIRE some form of recording capability.
This class will cover Commercial, Narration and Characters for Animation Features/Games. You’ll also receive Scott’s 110+ page PDF workbook, “Voiceover Basics for Bookings” covering marketing, agents, vocal exercises, home studio gear/ connectivity options and valuable industry resources.
To assure quality time for every participant this class is limited to 8 people only.
Everyone’s level of experience and expertise varies of course, but please know that these classes are a safe place to work out in and have fun. Having fun is a major factor in gaining voice work! The relaxed and confident vibe actually comes through in the audition room listening party! In some cases it can come down to, “Well I liked that person more because they sound like they’d be a blast to work with…”
Scott has experienced that decision making scenario when he was casting and producing commercials for a Seattle area advertising agency from 2008 - 2021. Working “both sides of the glass" has provided him tremendous insights on how voice talent can best boost their booking potential.
