Greetings everyone! Today I'm going to be showing you guys how to increase fps in Rust! This took me from the 70-80fps mark to well over 120 and even hitting beyond 150 at points! If it helped me, it can definitely help you! Please take not of what I say in this, sorry it's a long video, but I wanted to do it properly. I did some research into how optimised this game is for multiple cores and found that 4 cores, with hyperthreading, works much better than 6 cores with hyperthreading. It gives you a 5-10fps boost, so if you have an FX6000 series CPU, an FX8000 series CPU, an FX9000 series CPU, a hex core (or more) i7 or a Xeon, it's best to disable a few of your cores so you only have 4 being used. I hope this helps someone!

Still not getting good fps?
Try upgrading your PC. A new GPU is going to be the most beneficial component in getting good fps in every game. If you want some advice on what to get, ask me in the comments and I'll get right back to you! If you have a decent GPU or don't want to spend money, but still want more performance, then you should look to overclocking. I will do a tutorial with overclocking at some point but for now, there are plenty of tutorials out there on how to do it. Don't worry about damaging your GPU, that won't happen as there are technologies in place to stop that.
