We'll go through How to Install a Minimal Version of Ubuntu Linux on Virtual Box. This minimal version is the server addition and comes with a CLI that allows you to customize Ubuntu Linux however you want. Without all the extra Bloat. The minimal version of Ubuntu Linux is a great place to start customizing your own Linux experience because you don't have to start with all the extra Desktop tools that you would normally and can decide which one you want to install on your own.

The Ubuntu Linux Server addition is great for installing your own Windows Managers, as well as, having an absolutely minimal Ubuntu Linux setup. Start here if you're tired of Ubuntu's pre-configured environment. Install your desktop of choice and then add the applications and tools you need. Don't start with a environment that you have to change anyway and tools that you'll need to remove. This is a great version to know about!
