At first, I thought it was not worth to make a tutorial on how to install a texture pack on Project64. But, in the end, I couldn't find a good tutorial to recommend, so I made one of my own.
Feel free to like and subscribe, if you found the video useful. Thank you!

▶ INSTALATION INSTRUCTION

Requirement:
➔ File archiver (WinRAR or 7zip) - https://www.7-zip.org/download.html
➔ Project64 (any version) - https://www.pj64-emu.com/public-releases
➔ GlideN64 (latest version) - https://github.com/gonetz/GLideN64/releases/latest
➔ Nintendo 64 Rom (USA, PAL or Japan)
➔ The Texture Pack (HTC or PNG)

Instalation:
- Install your file archiver (like 7zip)
- Extract your Project64 emulator in your emulator directory.
- Extract the files locate "bin\Zilmar-specs" in ".\Project64\Plugin\GFX"
- Choose one of the two methods:
- For the HTC file: put it in ".\Emulator\Project64\Plugin\GFX\cache" (create the "cache" folder)
- For the folder with the PNG files: put it in ".\Emulator\Project64\Plugin\GFX\hires_texture" (create the "hires_texture" folder)

- Launch Project64
- Go to 𝘖𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 → 𝘚𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴..., go to Plugins, configure the plugins as you like but the most important is to put "GlideN64 Public Release 4.0" on "Video (graphics) plugin" and click "OK"
- Go to 𝘖𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 → 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘨𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭 𝘗𝘭𝘶𝘨𝘪𝘯..., and make your controller configuration.
- Go to 𝘖𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 → 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘨𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘴 𝘗𝘭𝘶𝘨𝘪𝘯...

- Put the "Video" config as following:
- Full screen resolution: your monitor screen resolution (commonly: 1920x1080)
- Aspect ratio: "Try to adjust game to fit"
- Multisample Anti-Aliasing (MSAA): "8x" (it depends on your performance)
- Anisotropic filtering: "16x" (same)
- Go to 𝘛𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 → 𝘛𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘬, check "Use texture pack" and click "OK"
- Go to 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘦 → 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘙𝘰𝘮, launch your Nintendo 64 game and enjoy!

Rom Hack:
- Check the ROM name of your rom hack like in 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘦 → 𝘙𝘖𝘔 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘰... when you have launched your rom hack or using 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘦 → 𝘊𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘙𝘖𝘔 𝘋𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺... to make a right click to your rom and access to the Rom Information.
- Replace the name of the game by the ROM name of the rom hack.
- Launch your rom hack, and enjoy!

▶ FAQ

➔ Where I can found texture packs ?
There is no really interesting site dedicated to the texture pack of Project64. What I can recommend is simply to do a search on Google, like "super mario 64 texture pack hd project64" for example. You will have to take into account the relevance of your results of course.

➔ I have some input lag with GlideN64.
Go to 𝘖𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 → 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘨𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘴 𝘗𝘭𝘶𝘨𝘪𝘯..., to the tab "Frame buffer" uncheck the box "Emulate frame buffer". This option makes the game look better but it is subtle for games like Super Mario 64.

➔ When I try to open a rom hack with GlideN64, I have a black screen/black textures.
Don't forget to put 8 MB memory size in your rom config (𝘖𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 → 𝘚𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴..., in Config:[rom name])
You can go to 𝘖𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 → 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘨𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘴 𝘗𝘭𝘶𝘨𝘪𝘯..., to the tab "Frame buffer" uncheck the box "Emulate frame buffer" to have a chance to correct a potentiel black screen in some rom hacks.
Otherwise, GlideN64 is a recent plugin, so some rom hacks don't work properly. I could not find a properly solution to correct this problem... :(

➔ And with Mupen64Plus ?
The steps are the same but at 3:36, you have to follow this:
- Launch Mupen64Plus
- Go to 𝘖𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 → 𝘚𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴..., in Config Plugins, configure the plugins as you like but the most important is to put "GlideN64 Public Release 4.0" on "Video Plugin" and click "OK"
- Go to 𝘖𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 → 𝘐𝘯𝘱𝘶𝘵 𝘚𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴..., and make your controller configuration.
- Go to 𝘖𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 → 𝘝𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘰 𝘚𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴...

➔ And for Android (M64Plus FZ) ?
- Get a texture pack in HTC format (or make one with Project64 Emulator)
- Install and launch a file archiver (like RAR: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rarlab.rar)
- Install and launch M64Plus FZ Emulator (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mupen64plusae.v3.fzurita)
- Go to Tools, add the texture pack
- Go to GlideN64, put the GlideN64 profile.
