How To Install GNOME Extensions with Zip Files
Update on 2018-02-04:
GNOME Tweak removed the ability to install extensions via Zip files. :(
You now have to manually install via the command-line by unzipping the file to the correct /home folder.
unzip name-of-extension.zip\ -d ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/extension-global@identifier/
for example:
unzip dash-to-dock@micxgx.gmail.com.zip\ -d ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/dash-to-dock@micxgx.gmail.com/
I may need to revisit this video with an updated version. :)

This video shows how to install GNOME extensions with just using a Zip file of an extension. This can be done with any Zip file provided it contains a GNOME Extension, it doesn't have to be from the http://extensions.gnome.org website.
