Get forge here:
http://files.minecraftforge.net/

IF YOUR USING MAC:
Instead of going to %appdata% go to /users/(your username)/library/application support/minecraft
the other steps are the same.

IF YOU CAN'T FIND THE MODS FOLDER:
Just create a new folder and title it Mods. It will be counted as the mods folder and will work.
