How To Install RetroArch On Your Modded PS4! (NES/SNES/Sega/PS1/GBA+ More!) | USB, HDD #RetroArch
169Hello everyone, welcome back to my channel! For today's video I will be showing you guys on how to successfully install RetroArch onto your modded PS4! RetroArch is a multi-core emulator that allows you to play your favorite classic console such as the Super Nintendo, PSX, Sega Genesis and more! Note this NOT an official build of RetroArch however, this is a pre-compiled build that was specifically ported for the PS4. There about 20+ cores in this and it's based of RetroArch 1.8.1 framework. Additional Notes:
• Games can be loaded from your HDD or USB.
• Some consoles may need bios to run cores. *PS1/WonderSwan are examples.*
• N64 Emulation is EXPERIMENTAL however it seems to run fastest with rice gfx plugin.
• There is also a small bug where games won’t load after closing it, just release the core and load said title again.
• This build is based of v1.8.1 of RetroArch.

★ Prerequisites:
• Modded PlayStation 4 that is on firmware 5.05.
* You can’t do this on firmwares higher then 5.05*
• PS-Phwoar Exploit Host Menu or any exploit host of your choice.
• RetroArchPS4.PKG
• USB Stick *either formatted to FAT32 or EXFAT* -Recommended to have a 32GB or more*
• Roms for your respective core. *SNES/NES/SegaGen etc.*
• Bios Files for certain consoles *PS1 is an example.*
• FileZilla FTP Client
• Data ⇨ RetroArch ⇨ System *this is the directory where your bios files will go to*
