RetroArch Emulator PS4 Update! Version 1.1 | New Cores, Thumbnail/Playlist Support, Fixed Bugs
82Hello everyone, welcome back to my channel! For today's video I will be showing you guys on how to successfully install the latest update for RetroArch onto your modded PS4! RetroArch is a multi-core emulator that allows you to play your favorite classic console such as the Super Nintendo, PSX, Sega Genesis and more! Note this NOT an official build of RetroArch however, this is a pre-compiled build that was specifically ported for the PS4. For this build "revision 2 aka version 1.1" there has been some cool new features that has been implemented from it's original release, such as new cores, thumbnail/playlist support, along with other bugs and fixes. • This build is based of v1.8.1 of RetroArch.
• Fixed launching games from playlist.
• Ability to add cover-art

★ Prerequisites:
• Modded PlayStation 4 that is on firmware 5.05
You can’t do this on firmwares higher then 5.05
• PS-Phwoar Exploit Host Menu or any exploit host of your choice.
• RetroArchPS4.PKG (Release version 1)
• USB Stick *either formatted to FAT32 or EXFAT* -Recommended to have a 32GB or more*
• Roms for your respective core. *SNES/NES/SegaGen etc.*
• Bios Files for certain consoles *PS1 is an example.*
• FileZilla FTP Client
• Data ➤ RetroArch ➤ System *this is the directory where your bios files will go to*
• Boxart
• Data ➤ RetroArch ➤ Thumbnail *this is the directory where you can place your cover-art/thumbnails/game-art for your games.*
