How To Install The Amazon Alexa App On Your Mobile Devices In Singapore
201This tutorial is for anyone who has problems trying to figure out how to install the Alexa App into their mobile devices. The Alexa App, being a US-based app, can normally be found in the US Region of either the Google Playstore or the Apple App Store. With this tutorial, you can find out how to easily get the app into your phones or Ipads if you are not in the US. Users who are in Singapore, now you can configure your Smart Devices along with Alexa integration with no issues at all. A few months ago, I did a tutorial on how to setup a simple home automation systems. That video and this one can be tied up as they are relevant to each other. Check out the links and details below.
GUYS MAKE SURE YOUR AMAZON ACCOUNT IS REGISTERED AS A US ACCOUNT.
1) First, you need to create a US Amazon account. During the registration, you need to select US as the country and use a random US address to input as your address. I use a New York address with postal code 10010. You can use it too. I use it for any of my US account sign-ups.
2) After a successful sign up, you can then download the Amazon App Store onto your Android phone. You need to type Amazon App Store on your your internet browser. I use Chrome and just Google Amazon App Store. Click the link, download and install it on your phone
3) After installing, open it up. You can then enter your login details. The content that you now see, is all the Apps that is available in the US region.
4) Search for Alexa. Download and install.
5) You can now configure it with your echo dot
