This is how you jailbreak iOS 3.2-4.1 using Limera1n. This supports the following devices which are the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 (GSM only, not GSM REV-A and CDMA), iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G, and iPad 1 since they use the Limera1n exploit not the iPhone 3G, or iPod Touch 2G since they use a different exploit. If you want jailbreak those devices use greenp0ison. I forgot to mention the Apple TV 2nd Generation since it supports the limera1n exploit as well.
