In this video, I'm going to show you how to find the elevation on the Google Maps app. Open up the Google Maps app on your phone and type in a destination that you're wanting to find the elevation for, Once you have selected your location, make sure that you tap the layers button in the top right corner just underneath the microphone icon.


And make sure that you have got terrain selected so that you can see the elevation. Now, what I will say is and you will notice from this video that when you zoom in to view the elevation of a certain area, it seems to disappear. So you will notice the elevation but it will be extremely small To look at through the Google Maps app.


You can obviously zoom out also and get a better view of what the overall area looks like whenever you've got it selected on terrain, but basically that is how you find the elevation of a certain area on the Google Maps app. I hope you find this video helpful.
