In this Abiotic Factor tutorial, I’ll show you how to lock and favorite inventory slots so your most important items don’t get moved or taken by the game’s systems (Like the Item Distribution Pad). 🛑📦

By favoriting slots, you can:
1️⃣ Right click on a slot with an item and select “Favorite” to lock it in place. This ensures the item distribution pad won’t pull that item out when it redistributes resources.
2️⃣ Right click on an empty slot to favorite it in advance, letting you place items you always want to stay safe.

For example: If you keep rare crafting materials, tools, or food in certain slots, favoriting them prevents the distribution pad from grabbing them when you’re loading up machines. This makes inventory management way easier and protects the stuff you don’t want touched.
