74Learn, How to Lock Your Windows 10 PC Remotely. If you forget or lost, stolen, or you think your device has been compromised, you can use the following steps to lock your computer remotely using any device like PC or Mobile. Make sure that for this feature to work, the device must be connected to the internet using a Microsoft account.
1. First login Microsoft account on https://login.live.com
2. Click/Tap on Devices.
3. From the "Overview" tab, click the Show details (or Manage) button for the device you want to lock.
4. Click/Tap on Find my device.
5. Click/Tap on the Lock button.
6. Click/Tap the Next button.
7. Create a short message with return instructions that will appear in the Lock screen. For example " Forget to Lock"
8. Click/Tap on the Lock button.
Once you've completed the steps, if the attempt to reach your device remotely is successful, Windows 10 will sign out any active users, and show your message in the Lock screen. However, administrator accounts will remain active, but any unauthorised access will be blocked.
