How to Make a 4x4 Magic Square
How to make a 4 x 4 Magic Square
You don’t have to be good at mathematics to enjoy the fascinating spatial numerical curiosity that is the magic square. In this short educational video, we take a look at the 3x3 magic square with a magic constant of 15, before moving on to the 4x4 magic square – covering how to make it with its baseline magic constant of 34, what properties it possesses that make it magical, and how to make it add up to other magic constants.
There are many other methods (this is just the tip of the iceberg) – and, of course there are larger magic squares if you are interested in finding out more and examining this subject in more detail – but this is a simple, easy to remember method to get you started. I hope you find it useful.
