For those of you who have tried to use buttons to permanently keep redstone circuits on but failed to do so, here is a tutorial for you. Note, this will only work if you are using Minecraft 1.5 or newer!

If you tried to make a button permanently keep a redstone circuit on but decided to use a lever to substitute the button after a number of failures, here is a video for you!
