This video is a quick demonstration on how to create a CIFS share using the command line interface of Data OnTap. First I take a look at existing CIFS shares by issueing the following:
CIFS Shares
Then I add a new share called vol0, and set the path to /vol/vol0. I could then access the CIFS share at this address \\FilerA\vol0. I used the following command:
CIFS Shares -add vol0 /vol/vol0 . .
