You can check for PSU failures, fan failures, temperature sensor readings, and other physical environment information remotely using the 'environment' utility via the command line interface of Data OnTap. The environment utility reports information it gathers from the head, and all of the disk shelves.
To learn more log into the command line interface and issue the command;
man environment
