How to Make a Custom PS1 Multiple Disc Eboot for PSP (2019)

In this video I show you how to create a Multi Disc PS1 eBoot for your PSP. This is so you don't end up needing separate eBoots for multi disc games such as Xenogears and many other PS1 games. You'll need to download PSX2PSP before we can begin.

0) Must already have Custom Firmware (CFW) installed!
1) Open PSX2PSP and click on the dropdown menu.
2) Depending on how many discs your PS1 game, click the last one first. For example, Xenogears has two discs. So I clicked on "file 2" first and added Disc 2 and then clicked on "file 1" an added Disc 1. Let's say you're making an eBoot for Final Fantasy VIII. In that case you would select "file 4" first and then select DISC 4, etc etc etc.
3) If you're not going to customize your eBoot like I did then all you have to do is select where the output folder will be. In the video I chose the desktop. This is where the eBoot will go once it's completed.
4) DO NOT CHANGE THE NAME OF THE FOLDER OR FILE INSIDE THE FOLDER.
5) Connect your PSP to your PC.
6) Double Click on the "PSP" folder.
7) Double Click on the "GAME" folder.
8) Drag or copy and paste your eBoot to the "GAME" folder.
9) Disconnect your PSP from your PC.
10) Turn on your PSP and go to Game menu and select your memory stick.
11) All your eBoots will now be displayed.
12) Enjoy!

It is the only handheld console to use an optical disc format, Universal Media Disc (UMD), as its primary storage medium. The PlayStation Portable was met with positive reception by most video game critics. The PlayStation Portable sold 76 million units as of 2012.
Several different models were released. The PSP line was succeeded by the PlayStation Vita, released in December 2011 in Japan, and in February 2012 worldwide. The Vita features backward compatibility with many PlayStation Portable games digitally released on the PlayStation Network, via the PlayStation Store. This is the primary method to purchase PlayStation Portable games digitally after Sony shut down access to the PlayStation Store via PSP on March 31, 2016. Hardware shipments ended worldwide throughout 2014, with the PSP having sold 80 million units in its 10-year lifetime. Production of UMDs ended with the closure of the last Japanese factory in late 2016.
