If you have an existing 2.1 texture pack you can automatically convert it using 2.2 TP Converter by @Weebify_ here:

Had some issues adding my icons to 2.2 with Absolute's splitter since its outdated but figured out how to get around them so here's a tutorial for anyone else who might wanna use their custom icons along with 2.2 ones

I haven't tested this with Menu textures yet since I haven't made any but I assume the fix is the same if it needs a fix at all
