Here in Commix and More we will demonstrate how to make your own simple scale for kids using materials you can find at home.

This instrument can be used in teaching the basic concept of weight (heavy and light) to kids.

The materials you need are the following:
a. Hanger
b. Plastic Containers or Bottles
c. Strings or Yarn
d. Scissors
e. Soldering Iron (or anything that can make a hole on the plastic container)

Steps:
1. Make holes on the plastic container.
2. Cut strings to equal lengths.
3. Tie the strings through the holes.
4. Hang the stringed containers on the hanger.
