How to make a Wood Arm - Mod - Files Included
https://1drv.ms/u/s!AoPEwcmh86n1qgEWmsco-AG01Uck?e=bhN0P4
-I have two windows open during part of the video. It shows on the left the changes to the jbeam, then on the right screen I hit Control-R to reload the mod with the changes
Some of the settings I go over are....
-The Hydros to control the flexing of the arm/snake.
-Beam Breaking
-Weight
-Beam Spring, Strength, Deform, Node Matieral Type
-Connecting multipe parts to create hinges (maybe not the best but it works)
-Fixing part of the Mod to stay in place and attach to the air basically... Think of an anchor
I make the model that the jbeams use in Blender
I texture the model (could be better, the texture should have been seemless tile)
Adjust the UV's
Unwrap the UV's
I create the very primitive Jbeams for the 3 Models that are joined together
Export them using the Jbeam Pluging for Blender.
A few other things...
Sorry no Talking.... I think I am moving slow enough to see pretty clearly what I am doing for anyone watching but let me know if you have any questions..
