How to make any aircraft Fireproof & Explosion-proof, during the mission Gray Imports - GTA
This is a simple demonstration showing how to make any aircraft Fireproof & Explosion-proof during the mission Gray Imports from GTA San Andreas. The link that describes this can be found here http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/924362-grand-theft-auto-san-andreas/faqs/34824
This is based on a video I made back in 2011: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bd4yxn3U6Pw
For this video I used a Dodo to demonstrate how to make a vehicle fireproof & explosion-proof, but any vehicle can be used. During the mission there's a red marker at the freight warehouse that the player must enter in order to continue with the mission. Once that marker has been entered, the vehicle that CJ is occupying will become fireproof and explosion-proof, and will remain that way until the mission is completed (passed or failed). After the mission is completed, the vehicle will lose it's fireproof and explosion-proof attributes if the vehicle itself is within close proximity to the mission. In order for the vehicle to retain those special qualities, it must be taken away from the mission area. In this video I stored the Dodo on the Flood Control area until the mission was passed.
Failing the mission will still allow the vehicle to retain it's fireproof and explosion-proof qualities, so this can be done several times to multiple vehicles.
In the video I also demonstrated how to store the Dodo in the Los Santos Police Impound Garage. Here's a link to a topic by OrionSR that explains how it works: http://gtaforums.com/topic/304874-care-and-feeding-of-a-san-andreas-impound-garage/
This was completed using a 'Limited Skills' saved game, which means that only the bare minimal was completed in order to progress far enough into the storyline to where the mission Gray Imports becomes available. All skills are at very low levels.
NO CHEATS and no mods were used.
