Start to finish how to take Pork Belly and turn it into your own Bacon!
Recipe:
1 cup kosher salt
1 cup brown/white sugar (more for sweeter bacon)
1 tsp dried mustard seeds
2 bay leaves (ground)
1 Load of black pepper
Get as much of the cure onto the meat as you can. Seal it up in a plastic bag for 5-7 days in the fridge. Rinse off meat and pat completely dry with paper towel. In smoker for 4-6 hours at 225 degrees Fahrenheit!
Slice and fry, add maple syrup at the end for the best bacon of all time.
