340This adorable Kanto starter comes to life! A Charmander that can talk! Learn how to make your own Charmander puppet that has a glowing tail and can stand on his own without support! Charmander is a very energetic fire type lizard Pokemon with a glow in the dark tail! I even show you how to craft a bandana for a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon add on feature! A great tribute to this video game! Charmander will bring you sense of joy with his bright colours and a sense of energy! He is well tuned to the fire element!
I personally love Charmander and will always choose this Pokemon over any other! The best starter from the day I played Pokemon Red in my Game Boy! Great times, and he will evolve into a beautiful dragon Pokemon named Charizard! Please do look at my tutorial on how to build Charizard as well as my other video game puppets!
I made this puppet according to Bulbapedia:
"Charmander is a bipedal, reptilian Pokémon with a primarily orange body and blue eyes. Its underside from the chest down and the soles of its feet are cream-colored. It has two small fangs visible in its upper jaw and two smaller fangs in its lower jaw. A fire burns at the tip of this Pokémon's slender tail and has blazed there since Charmander's birth. The flame can be used as an indication of Charmander's health and mood, burning brightly when the Pokémon is strong, weakly when it is exhausted, wavering when it is happy, and blazing when it is enraged. It is said that Charmander dies if its flame goes out. However, if the Pokémon is healthy, the flame will continue to burn even if it gets a bit wet and is said to steam in the rain."

-Newspaper
-White glue
-Tissue or toilet paper
-Large Paintbrush
-Scissors and razor blade (very sharp, be careful)
-Brushes and paint
-Cardboard
-Hot glue
-Masking tape
-Gloves (for handling hot glue guns)
-Paint mixing stick (free at any paint department)
-Strings
-Safety glasses and gloves
-Small chain or pipe cleaner/wire
-Glow Paint
