How to make knobs/faders act as a step by step sequencers in FL studio

Note: you can do this with almost every parameter in FL studio that can be automated.
By changing the distance between automation clips, you can change the "speed" of the sequence.
Make sure to assign the knobs to the automation's "min" value in the correct order so they chronologically correspond to each other.
