How to Make Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! HARDER
Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee are certainly more casual than your average Pokemon game but that doesn't mean you can't add a little bit of challenge if you want to! Here are some ideas for you to make your run through the first Switch Pokemon games a little more difficult.
Remember, apart from the first two rules, you can use any combination of these that you want to make your Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu & Eevee run a little more challenging!
Normal Rules:
If a Pokemon faints it is not useable anymore and most be boxed or released.
One encounter per area. Can be encountered a few different ways depending on what you prefer due to the new wild Pokemon system.
- Close your eyes and run around until you encounter a Pokemon.
- Encounter the closest Pokemon to you
- Encounter one Pokemon of your choosing. (if you encounter anything else while running to it that is your encounter.)
Extra Rules (Optional for more difficulty):
- Only use a set amount of potions per battle.
- Don't level up higher than the next gym leader (any Pokemon that does level up past that level cannot be used until the badge is obtained)
- Use Battle style set (no switching when your opponent is sending in a new Pokemon)
- Additional Pokemon may be caught if NEEDED to advance in the game, they cannot be used in battle however.
- No using Mega Evolutions
- Turn off EXP Share
- If your starter faints you could sacrifice another Pokemon (or two) to revive
