We'll talk about some of the elements that create a good, fun map, as well as some things to avoid with your first project. By the end of this chapter you should have your first fully working and playable custom TF2 map and the means to get players on it.
This episode we will talk about the various forms of symmetry used in TF2 maps. We explain the differences between mirrored and rotational symmetry, and I show you the trick I use to keep my maps perfectly symmetrical throughout it's entire development cycle. This can help keep a competitive-level symmetrical accuracy.
