In this video we discuss how to transition into Monolith.

- Before you play/change your decks: READ UP

- UNDERSTAND THE KEY IMPLICATIONS OF THE CHANGES (that I foresee):
- No travel mode means ranged heroes will have an easier time, able to build and deal more damage
- WARDS WARDS WARDS!!!!
- Movement cards and abilities will be much more effective and deadly
- Fighters, and especially tanks, might be keeping this health/armour meta
- Roles will be much more important; building to fulfill this will be crucial
- They have made the meta and strategy of this map more particular; you can't do anything you want!

- Go Solo vs AI and do the following:
- Go down each lane and study the terrain for useful features
- Get a feel for the travel time along and between lanes
- Know where possible gank opportunities lie, both for and against you
- Lane against various bots and get the feel for how fast or slow you can push a lane/respond to a lane
- Go through the jungle and do the same, especially for the new buff camps
- Try out your main/most comfortable hero and get a FEEL for the fundamental changes
- Try ALL the heroes out with their default decks

- Study your new collection of cards that have completely changed and look for any deficiencies (I foresee the card changes to be really good for everyone actually)
- Adjust your decks according to the things you learnt in AI games and try to foresee PvP differences
- Try your builds out in AI games until you have tweaked them so that they match your new playstyle and objectives
- Take it EASY in PvP matches and be POSITIVE and RECEPTIVE to changes, errors, frustrations and annoyances
- Understand that it will take TIME to get used to the new game and how everything works
