Aérospatiale/BAC CONCORDE.. topping at Mach 2 (2179 kmph double the speed of sound) going at around 660 metres per second!! It cud cross the Atlantic in just 3 hours..
In an unfortunate event on 25 July 2000 at Paris Charles De Gaulle airport, aircraft F-BTSC of Air France flight 4590 crashed just after takeoff into Hôtelissimo Les Relais Bleus Hotel due to engine fire caused by tyre burst followed by fuel leak..
In the memory of the same aircraft.. this one is registered as F-BTSC..
