Re-uploaded from CodenameSailorEarth2 ~ just in case.

Step One: Make a Facebook page.

Step Two: Make a .jpg image that is 180 x 180 pixels in size.

If you don't know if it will look right, make a copy of the picture as a 50 x 50 pixel image. Your emoticon will be shrunk down to that size when in use, so the 50 x 50 picture will give you an idea. Go ahead and play with this!

Step Three: Upload image to the new page you made as the page's profile pic.

Step Four: Hit the "Edit profile picture" option, and scale that image to fit.

Step Five: Copy the last part of your page's URL.

Step Six: Start a Facebook chat with someone and type the emoticon as follows:

[[Last bit of your page's URL without spaces]]

See how it looks!

Create your own Facebook page here:

It's actually more fun that you'd think. :) Play around and experiment. My emoticon is a work in progress so I'm open to opinions.

Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use.
