Chibiusa and Kousagi ~ Time Opening
0Story:
This short takes place between Sailormoon S and Parallel Sailormoon.
Consider it a parallel universe story.
Chibiusa leaves 30th Century Crystal Tokyo behind, to help the Senshi in the past. Kousagi is just in kindergarten when her big sister leaves, and is distraught over Chibiusa's departure. Kousagi waits patiently through the years for Chibiusa to come back home. On her way to meet her sister after a few years, Kousagi begins daydreaming about that fateful day, and also about what Chibiusa must have been up to this whole time. In the colorized background, Chibiusa rescues Sailor Moon, dies when Mistress 9 takes her heart crystal, calls the crystal back, becomes Super Sailor Chibi Moon, returns Hotaru/Mistress 9 to Sailor Saturn against her will, brings all of the Senshi together, is killed by the Amazoness Quartet, only for her Dream Mirror to call Helios and Peruru to revive her, becomes Eternal Sailor Chibi Moon, heals the Amazoness Quartet to normal, meets Chibi Chibi and subsequently Sailor Cosmos, battles Sailor Galaxia, saves everyone's lives by restoring their Starseeds and eventually returns home, now as a High Schooler.
Production notes:
I was experimenting with longer animations in 2008. I released this June 30th of that year. (The sisters' birthday.) I wanted to make a video from Kousagi's perpective. I really wish Toei had made Chibiusa as strong as she is in the manga.
