We run through:

We already made the sawhorse and basic carpenter table and learned those skills. I should assume you did so too. - Check out the video on making grave markers if you didn’t

Getting iron ore in the swamp just north of your cabin (ensure you finished the Blacksmith quest to get the sword to protect yourself from the slime) you will also need basic Blacksmithing skills to mine the ore

Trading some of the ore with the blacksmith to get basic metal parts for the wooden anvil and the furnace

Get the wood for the furnace and use your remaining ore (or mine more) to make the nails on the wooden anvil
