How to Manage / Clear Recent Items on MacBook [Tutorial]
When you’re trying to get back into a document, application or server that you’ve worked on recently, one quick way to do so in macOS is to click the Apple menu and select Recent Items. Doing so displays a list of three headings — Applications, Documents, and Servers — with a number of entries listed under each heading.
Issues addressed in this tutorial:
The Recent Items list in the Apple menu will show you apps and documents that you have used recently. You can change this from the default 10 items to as many as 50, or turn it off completely. The Recent Item settings can be adjusted from your Mac's System Preferences menu.
This tutorial will apply for MacBook Pro, Air, Mini's running the macOS operating system. This tutorial was performed on a macOS Big Sur system.
