​In Odoo 18's Project module, the Customer Ratings feature enables businesses to collect feedback on project tasks directly from customers. This functionality is crucial for assessing client satisfaction and refining project processes.​Cybrosys Odoo Partner

Enabling Customer Ratings:

Navigate to Settings: Go to the Project module, then select Configuration -- Settings.​

Activate the Feature: In the Analytics section, locate Customer Ratings, check the box to enable it, and click Save.​

Setting Up Rating Email Templates:

To automate feedback requests when tasks reach specific stages

Access Stage Settings: Click on the link Set a Rating Email Template on Stages found under the Customer Ratings option.​

Assign Templates to Stages: For each relevant stage, select or create an Email Template that will be sent to customers when tasks enter that stage.​

Configure Automatic Status Updates: Enable Automatic Kanban Status to allow task statuses to update automatically based on received ratings.​

Collecting and Viewing Feedback:

Once configured, when a task reaches a stage with an assigned rating email template, the customer receives an email prompting them to provide feedback. Their responses, including ratings and comments, are recorded in the task's chatter and can be reviewed to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
