IMPORTANT UPDATE: Since this video has been released, CIU has had its file format for resources changed from hq2x to 222x. Make sure your tables are up-to-date. When IAMT prompts you to select a file when either extracting or importing textures, change "Interaction WAD Format" into "All files" because you won't be able to see the 222x files otherwise. The episodes are left untouched and still work the same as before.

Some of you might have noticed the fact that my old modding tutorial has been down for quite some time, and that's because of the fact the method used there is fairly annoying and IA doesn't really allow it either. But at last, I come here with a new tutorial, this time it should be perfectly fine. However, the tool featured here is restricted to audio only, plus most backgrounds.
I didn't mention anything about backgrounds in the video but they must be in .jpg format. They can be of any size but using anything other than the normal size will likely result in the background looking like it's skipping frames.
As for sounds, if you use method 1, then they can also use certain formats that aren't .ogg. For example, .mp3 and .wav.
Also, if your audio file crashes the game for whatever reason or doesn't play, try exporting it with Audacity. All audio exported with Audacity works 100% of the time.
Btw, IAMT works for all ci games, not just ciu(and even other games made by IA!). However the other ones don't require ciu.iamt_table.

Note: ciu.iamt_table and ciu.iami on the google drive link aren't always up-to-date, but they're generally never behind by more than one version. sfx and backgrounds also don't get added often, so generally you won't be missing out on anything most of the time.
