HOW CAN I ADD MODS TO MY PALWORLD SERVER?
Important
We would first like to point out that the use of mods is at your own risk. This is an Early Access game and problems are to be expected. If problems arise due to mods, we recommend that you remove them.

There are 2 different types of mods.

Mods with BAT-file
Mods without BAT-file
Our servers only support the mods WITHOUT the BAT file.

If a mod description looks like the following, for example, it is NOT supported by us:
“Download REUE4SS xinput: Releases · UE4SS-RE/RE-UE4SS (github.com) (file name: UE4SS_Xinput_v2.5.2.zip)

In principle, only mods with a PAK extension currently work.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO BE ABLE TO USE MODS WITH PAK EXTENSION?
First you have to move the PAK file of the mod to the following folder in the installation directory of Palworld on your PC:
Pal\Content\Paks
Then the same PAK file must also be uploaded on your server in the following path
Pal\Content\Paks
And that’s all there is to it. The mod installation is very simple and quick.

Important
For Palworld servers that were created before January 26, 2024, the server files must be verified once for this to work. This is not necessary for newly created servers.
