Muting chat in Rust is pretty straightforward! Here’s how you can do it:

For PC Players
Using the F1 Console:

Press F1 to open the console.

Type mute "player_name" or mute "SteamID" and press Enter.

To unmute, type unmute "player_name" or unmute "SteamID".

Muting via Chat:

Click on a player’s chat message.

Select the mute option to silence them.

For Console Players (PS4, PS5, Xbox)
Open the pause menu by pressing the Options button.

Navigate to Options, Game, Communication.

Set Voice Chat to None to disable it.
